Transfiguration Sunday at Farr Parish Church, Bettyhill

Rev Beverly Cushman having been inducted to the charge of Altnaharra and Farr, was “preached in” on Sunday 26th.  Here you can listen to the reading from Luke 9 and then the the sermon preached by Rev Donald McCorkindale at Bettyhill.

During the hymn before the sermon (which has been edited out of this recording) Donald took to the pulpit – he thought he should being a visiting preacher.  Beverly presumed he had disappeared to sort the microphone…  hence the little hiatus before the sermon…!
